We are pursuing the players we have info on.

One thing to mention for server admins - if you have an IP and some logs, you might want to contact these guys' ISPs. Tampering with other peoples' servers is a no-no, and against just about every ToS I've seen (not to mention federal law).

yes, its interchangeable with etded.x86/exe.

If you're only using the .x86/.exe files, the only added support is that you could enable it as an ETTV match server (not slave) if you wanted to. (disabled by default, unless you set ettv_password )

we've noticed this also with several of the major NA servers. Its happening now that we switched to 3.1.9 etpro, however I would assume that *shouldn't* cause a problem(?) We'll double-check the map list, just in case.

they can't because they don't have the source to CoD.

Garetjax (maker of PAM) is working on CoDTV already, anyways. Not sure when it'll be ready.

Bottom line: if an admin who decides he'll host ETTV servers would put some more effort in preparation, I think things would go much more smoothly. This is what I'm trying to accomplish in the NA scene - get a consistent set of ETTV servers that we can reliably get up and running quickly and withou...

Damn there goes my tribute to Christopher Reeves :(
well, you could prone in mid-air, but only your hitboxes would change (the model would look just like a normal jump)

Thats why they removed the ability to prone in mid-air.

1) make sure the pk3's are the same size - checksum means that they're there, but they mis-matched, for some reason.
2) instead of the ip address, use "localhost", I've heard that works better.

got used against us twice in matches within a month. ;)
The first guy was very good at it - he could do it probably 75% - he kept trying to do it when we were *in* the depot. ;)
