no dedicated server ? Yeah, I ran it on machine at work as dedicated, came home & fired up my other version. Rock-n-roll. Luckily, if it ever crashed <gasp> I'm only 8 minutes away so I'd jet over & restart it. Like I said, good times... And [MoB]Seany, great freakin' vid! I love th...

Heh, I used to run an RTCW server at night from one of our work Macs. Hadda shut it down remotely from home in the middle of the night so it wouldn't be chugging along making loud war sounds in the morning though. :P

Ahhhh, the days.

Welllll, I'm sitting here with a G4 Quicksilver running on a KVM switch to...the PeeCee. Ya know why all of the games I play now are on the Windoze box instead of that Mac? Because the amount of cash I would've had to lay into a new processor, new vid card, etc. on the Mac was ridiculous for the amo...

Why is this thread even still open? It seems to serve no purpose, save for the whining & pointless attempts to run a game on hardware that can't possibly handle it.

3.19 isn't used for competition? I know of at least 3 Leagues on 3.19 and I'd imagine there are more. :?

Well, happy to report - this rocks! After we got the PB issue worked out on the slave servers & it stopped kicking people, we had a great time. (We just renamed the PB folder so it wouldn't start up) Was a little choppy for all the viewers, but I'd have to check on what the specs were for the in...

On the slave side? We've tried disabling it (both client and slave server) and no good.

It's a Catch-22 then. Any time you post a petition on 99% of Mac boards, you get shot down almost instantly. Heh, some forums will even ban you for putting up a petition. Honestly, you can build a PeeCee cheaply that will run ET well enough to enjoy. Throw in a KVM switch & you don't even need a...
