It was common to use high cl_timenudge values in WTV (like 1000) to compensate lag and make things more smooth. Of course, back then we didn't had the antilag we have now (neither did I had the small knowledge I have now), so I really don't know how it might work out. Rain mentioned cl_timenudge ove...

why couldnt you just stop mouse movement for a second after getting up they can still use weapons ie pliers, needles etc just their mouse movement doesnt work atleast for a second this makes the pro proners still able to fire at their target if they lined up right and able to use items such as plier...

Isn't irc.eu.gamesuge.net on Europe? I currently connect to a server in UK with a direct IP when the GameSurge DNS gets crazy. Anyway, Freenode is a lovely network, I always use it when I boot on linux (yeah, linux support channels, sweet! hehe) and should really use more on Windows. But... G...

Could someone please update this thread to show the new antiwarp graphing? I'm guessing the darker green field above the regular light green is showing how high your ping is faked to while antiwarp is acting. The light green would still be your actual ping regardless of what the server is using for...

I have played CS and CoD, and I wouldn't like the same kill/death system on ET. Just the names in respective colors or , as suggested above, a quick and dirty death message prefix (similar to TEAMKILL: ) like AXIS: or ALLIES: . Would do perfectly and wouldn't lose the color information. The conflict...

That gave me an idea that probably won't be useful for most of you, but I would be willing to try it out. I can try coding a program in Delphi (I'll try with CLX so it runs under linux, but I'll go back to VCL in case it gets too complicated/impossible) that is a small form, aproximately 60 pixels w...

dont alter the playernames but the actual deathmessge colour or index it with a AXIS: or ALLIED: to differentiate. they took the complete colour change approach in SOF2 and UrT mods, so all fancy colour names were lost :> True. Interesting suggestion. Let's do it this way then :) I've thought of th...
