Point being. If you have the announcement that Dynamite is planted, it is an indication that you planted right, so it should blow up the objective. If it does not that is a problem, because you hold your ground and protect that dynamite and then when it goes the objective does not, major problem! If...

I could not reproduce the problem again. But during a lengthy demo in which I did other stuff aswell. I found a similair bug. Dynamite gets announced and does NOT blow up it's target. I hear it being announced, I see the message on screen, and when it goes boom nothing happens. That is a bug aswell....

I believe these are etmain bugs yes.

I notcied the message not comming through aswell with bugfix 26 of ETPro 3.0.0
But before I got round to posting my bugfix results 3.0.1 was out.
And forgot about the problem.

This is not Microsoft which can put a thousand paid engineers on the problem.

To answer your question I do know that PunkBuster has a registry of guids to names.
But to my knowledge it is a payed service I do not know if that is what you want.

Perhaps there are other options?

Selectable client variable so client can restrain his or her-self from throwing a cannister is a good thing.

Also remember that things can look strange for people who have just finished downloading a map or mod from your server using download redirect from within ET.
They will crash as soon as they use the new files.
