No, I don't think so. CVARs like r_gamma already make things brighter, so there is no reason why r_ambientscale shouldn't be unlocked. Try it out and see for yourself.Father wrote:That's reason why it's cheat protected and should not be changed.Smoke wrote:makes the players a bit brighter.

r_ambientscale "1" (0.5 is default) makes the players a bit brighter.
Unfortunately it is locked. Could the ETPro team please unlock it? I'm not sure if it's up to you or not, but I believe it is.

Where's the ETPro folder on Mac OS X?
I installed ET on Mac OS X Leopard, and played on an ETPro server, but I cannot find the etpro folder anywhere. It's not in the game folder, along with etmain, and I can't find it after searching either. I know it's installed, because I can load it from the mod menu.
So, where is it?

I get the following error if I switch to Windows in the middle of a game. Could the ETPro team please implement a custom background feature?
With r_fastsky on, the background is dark gray; it's depressing and ugly. I wish we could choose the color ourselves. Like b_bgcolor 0xccffff, or something like that.
