b_drawpromotions and b_drawrewards are client side, correct?

im guessing these are the cvars that alter whether the text pops up, notifying u of rewards and promotions?

both b_fixedphysics and b_fixedphysicsfps are server side cvars, and dont require a client setting?

id have to say that i sometimes suffer from this problem too, and i end up lowering s_volume which obviously affects all of the gameplay sound
