I love how people think their personal favorite gameplay tweak will "save" et. And then write huge books about it. Face it, no matter how we tweak ET gameplay, the playerbase is gonna be about the same. Unless you really fuck it up and drive a bunch of people off. The argument that curren...

What is a high rollover count, and what keyboard have high rollover counts?

what charges did you file bani? Like what was the name of the crime? I guess crashing or attacking any server even a game server is illegal right now. I would think, with WOW being a billion dollar business, that soon rather than later, they will make hacking games and such also illegal somehow. Pro...

Removed judder when hit: cg_damagekick "0" cg_fallkick "0" cg_drawdamagekick "0" cg_drawfallkick "0" cg_impactvibration "0" I saw these in someones config, none of them register in ET though. What are they if anything? some mod cvars or something?

ditto the above. All the other stuff from a clan perspective doesnt matter much. I mean if a guy gets 100000 damage from getting 77 headshots or zero headshots I do not care, as long as he is getting the damage. Heck, he could achieve that damage by using his friggin knife only, whatever. Accuracy t...

nah reyalp I sure dont want the gameplay change of spamming the revives to everyone. So, the end of round output of b_endround "statsall; weaponstats" would become incorporated in the client etconsole.log file? And thereby, any statparser could then put in revives if they chose to right? L...

change: report medic revives in client etconsole.log file?

The statwhore article by prophet on et-center has brought this issue back.

Could medic revives be included into the etconsole.log file, just like kills are?

Thanks for your consideration,

make changing cl_maxpackets in game slower or impossible?

I have seen "lag scripts" that have been used in matches, that use changes in cl_maxpackets to induce some type of lag, or warping? Is it possible to turn off the ability to readily change ones maxpackets? Just playing the last few rounds of competitive ET has really opened my eyes a bit. ...

reyalp, I know very little, but external macro programs might not be able to accomplish some of these things, just a bit off an they likely wont work I strongly suspect. Also, using external macroprogram is another step up towards clear cut cheating, also, man, its justs seems to me it would lag you...

disallow wait command from being used in game?

Is it possible to disallow the command wait to be used by a client in a script command while playing? This is being used by people with jump scripts in game. If so please make a cvar for it. Will be highly interesting to see who loses thier great jumping ability when/if its implemented and who doesn...

Agree with your 3 cvars, fop myself :x But I find it laughable you think arti is skilled. Mortar, yes definatly - and as I said I agree that's an offensivly biased weapon on all but one comp map. But "predicting" 10 seconds ahead isn't a skill, heck we've even got the etpro spawntimer now...

Mortaring is an offensive weapon. Which speeds up map times considerably. What once were full holds, are now maps that are over in 7 minutes, ie oasis. Mortar is useful on goldrush. Mortar is a complex weapon, and there is a lot of prediction, mindgames and team coordination involved to using it eff...
