I'm not sure having a min. ping would matter that much. I've been in there with 7 others and had such horrible lag we all left and went to another server. Our pings were all under 300.
I believe it was SH clan's, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, we had no problem there at all. Is it the Server itself?
