getting caught in a reload is the gheyest thing in ET and dont say plan your reload. In cs when you are in reload you can abort it by pressing your switch weapon button. I Think this would be a nice addition to et.

but what if its a uk team playing a us team. one team will ping 150 wile the other pings 50. there is potential here for making the game "even" removing the ping factor all together.
