Ever heard of "/pmove_fixed 1" ? If the server allows it you can jump like as if you were using the exploits.

More fps = less noticable dips. And even the fastes pc dips when you play on a 32 people server with 6 field ops tossing fire support around. And yeah i know that fps > refresh is useless but these values were on an empty server;) My playtime fps is capped at 100 with vsync enabled anyway.

I've got an AMD 64 3400+ with 1M of cache and 1Gb of mushkin memory, my video card is a geforce 6800GT. Nothing is overclocked and I can easily get 125fps on every level, I very very seldom see drops in frames on the above described maps. Only case when I do see drops sometimes is on ETMAIN servers...
