Using negatives resets my demos, it says they're going to jump forward however many seconds until the timer has xx left on it, but then just restart the demo altogether.

Gracias for the explanation. I have the side buttons bound simply as MOUSE4 and 5, the software doesn't interfere at all (ran for ages without the real MS drivers and now with the IntelliPoint software installed, noticed no difference), did you bind yours to do something other than forward/back? Lik...

You're advertising it all wrong. You need to advertise an analogue to digital modulation converter capable of synchronously sending and receiving over 56000 pieces of data a second.

I think using those scripts would be awesome, on public servers at least. I'd knife people in the back on 4 seconds so they kept /killing unintentionally. Same deal if someone ever made a panzerfaust proximity script, just fire one near them on 29 and laugh as they /kill to their frustration ^_^

I seem to recall hearing that hitboxes didn't actually rotate, but were locked on the axises of the map, don't know if that's true but it could possibly account for the problem.

Forgive my noobness, but I don't know YMMV, nor IIRC...

Anyway, I'll test the ASE thing, see if it makes a difference.

if ((Health < 10) && (ReinforcementTime < 5)) then kill

Not that I've thought about it... ;)

I don't really know if it can be done but one can dream, I'd sure love to be able to write long, complex, obtuse and incomprehensible if structures.

From what I understood, the option to have pmove_fixed on or off fell to the client (depending upon PB of course), but the pmove_msec value was set serverside and determined the relative FPS to be used for calculations. It borks the sniper pretty bad and it caused about a 5% drop in accuracy and up ...

Imo, the ultimate solution to all of this would be the ability to use if structures in your config file, much like in Far Cry and other newer engines. However I have to say that the potential differences you could want dependent upon not only your class but your individual weapon are pretty limited,...

ASE causes problems? I hadn't really noticed anything... The odd tiny lag spike that I wrote off as a simple connection problem, nothing more.

Steven: go type /name ^1E^7xample in your console and hit enter, then press up arrow so you've got that line in your console again, and press the home key to move to the start of the line. The cursor disappears off the side of your screen and you have nfi where you're editing. Thanks for the explana...

Depends what FPS you're adding it too. If you're getting 40's then it's pretty significant, if you're getting 125 and up it isn't. Not everyone has the latest, greatest video cards. To get another 6 frames just from driver refinements isn't to be baulked at imo.

haha, I like the "Don't walk" idea for the landmines. I'd probably just wind up turning it off though... but yeah it would be kinda useful. I'd settle for knowing just what the trip radius is on those things.
