OK, thank you Reyal.

As far as I can remember, I have only been playing on ETPro servers and I definitely remember being able to do this in the past. Is this something that has changed? Or, did I somehow play on a non-ETPro server?

Shoving un-gibbed bodies

Normal shoving seems to be working fine. What server config settings need to be changed in order to allow shoving bodies that haven't yet been gibbed?

I think a lot of people here in Japan don't have that consciously set one way or the other. Can I do a forcecvar? And if so, what is the syntax for that? Is it "command forcecvar wwwdownload 1"?

Weird, Some people are getting good speeds (140kbs+) and others are only getting 20kbs? Any ideas?

Birdman & Spoofeh,

Thank you for your efforts and feedback.

I changed the Apache server configuration again. Could someone try connecting again?

As before my main interest is getting the redirect working properly.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,
Pete

OK, I've ditched FTP and am now using http via Apache. Could someone please try again?

Also, what do I need to do to show up in server browsers?

Well, I am using Filezilla FTP Server? To the best of my knowledge that supports cURL. I am able to successfully connect and download from the server from a Firefox browser while outside of my LAN. The problem seems to be some kind of failed interaction between ET and Filezilla, but I don't know wha...

Would the way ET requests the download be considered FXP? I'm using Filezilla which has a type of FXP prevention by default. I just unchecked that "feature". Perhaps that was it? The username and IP have been hidden. Here is the log from the failed transfer: --- Start Log --- (000302) 12/6...

Thank you for the effort. Guess it's back to the drawing board.

If anyone has any advice, I would be appreciative.

Birdman,

OK, you are showing up on my FTP. It appears that things are going wrong when it starts hitting PASV mode.

I just put more explicit settings there as far as my external IP and port range. I really hope that does the trick.

You've been a great sport if you have a chance... :-)

Thank you !

Birdman,

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I made some changes, to the FTP Server... if you get a chance to try again that would be great.

BTW, my question #3 is about download speed, sorry for being ambiguous.

I appreciate all the help so far. If anyone can help farther that would be great. I need to get some feedback regarding the following four questions: 1) Are you able to successfully connect? 2) Are you able download successfully? 3) What kind of speed are you getting? 4) Does my server, "Yamabu...

Lagger, can you or someone else expand on the "referrer string"? At the moment my FTP is just setup to accept anonymous connections. Should it be set to something different?

Can someone please give this a try again and let me know what happens?

Server: 61.198.212.29:27960

I believe I have the FTP sorted out. I have a 100Mbit connection so downloads should be fast.
