Thanks :)

Which release was it fixed in Zinx? And would you recommend using that release over B4/B7?

B4 bug - 8 pk3 limit?

<r>Thought this deserved a new thread to aid searchability <E>:)</E><br/> <br/> I'm using B4 on the master and B7 on the slave and have had this error: Every map change or round start the master server does what it's supposed to, but the slave completely pings out and then sits there loading and re-...

heh another problem :x :x Now the ETTV server lags out / crashes after every round start or map change :( master = b4 slave = b7 edit: sorry wrote that while quite tired last night. Moving from B8/B8 to B4/B7 seems to have introduced this new bug - ie the ETTV server lags out on every map start or m...

possibly because it takes quite a lot of time/effort that "they" don't have at the moment

B10 would be good though, you are right.

ok :) Both running as suggested! We've got a bit of an issue with lag on the master server, but i'll play around a bit before accusing ettv.x86 of being the culprit! (And provide demo's if i reckon it is). Hopefully this will all work just fine, and I can add this server to the gamesTV list for matc...

heh, i can imagine thats annoying ^^

If we get problems i'll do my best to record tv_84's and dm_84's at the same time to help.

Let me just check i'm getting this right before i act on it though: You recommend:

1) ettv.x86 (B4/9) for the master server
2) ettv.x86 (B8/9) for the slave

i guess i can live with the artificially high pings, although i wonder if some of our opponants may complain :( what would you advise (you knowing much more than I) - Keep B8 and live with it, or downgrade to B7. Where there any major performance gains from B7-B8 that would mean its unadvisable to d...

B8 on FreeBSD problem - configuration error?

Hiya, I'm having some teething troubles :x I've got my master server set up running on ettv.x86 thus: //ETTV Settings set ettv_sv_maxslaves "1" set ettv_password "password" set g_password "war" set b_ettv_flags "3" ETmain maps number 21, other files 5 ETpro is...

*update*

b8 works just fine, although for some reason you get higher pings on the master when its running ettv.x86 than etded :o (Pings 40ms above what they normally are).

Is this a known bug or is it just a reporting error somehow?

I can work my way through them on the offchance one might work. I'm not going to be broadcasting competitions, ...
