I've found that gold almost never works if you are being raped at your spawn (i.e. getting shot 2 or 3 times as soon as you leave the spawn hut). Once the enemy does make the kill, the gold can not be picked up. Also, just a thought: maybe that teamkilling message has something to do with the buggy ...

what about an option like /fakegold x, where x is a number that corresponds to a color

I tried to switch teams, but a strange banner came up.

Something like:

"You cannot switch teams so soon after teamkilling."

I started to record a demo, but it worked once i was recording .

I believe this has happened to others as well.

i think its a great idea; it would be better to make dropping a fake gold deplete your charge bar entirely... i can see people spamming fake gold EVERYWHERE!!

what if only spies could see these paralysis packs, and all other classes would see them as normal ammo or health packs?

just have an arrow pointing down on them, perhaps

you can do it anywhere you are on top of a pole or a person, and you can only do the "cheat" if you have to crouch to fit under the ceiling
