So what use is the b_campaignfile variable then?

Should we be putting the .campaign in a pk3 so it gets downloaded, as well as having the .campaign on it's own in the scripts directory?

The coordinates ARE useless, not just borderline useless.

The RtCW system shat all over ET's. If it could be changed, there would be much rejoicing.

not to mention the problems this would cause with server hosting, where fs_game is soetimes a pita to change Bani knows the score there.. Changing fs_game all the time is a pain in the arse and should be avoided. Some server hosting companies don't give you shell access, so it's very difficult to p...

ETPro 3.0.1 installation..?

Currently have 2.0.7; do I have to install ETPro 3.0.0 first, and then 3.0.1, or can I go straight from 2.0.7 to 3.0.1?

Thanks

afaik in the new version coming out, the prone hitbox will be gradual, so probably standing, crouching, proning hitbox. While that will be better, I don't think it's enough. I think that if you're going prone you shouldn't be able to fire UNTIL you're in teh prone position. It's a cheap exploit it t...

It's something that rhea introduced into OSP 0.9 for RtCW, and would definitely benefit ETPro as well.

I think Bani has it in his to-do list already, but I doubt it's important enough for 2.1 at this stage.

I love how Rogue posts "fact" about future GA settings every time he gets the chance. Unless you know something I don't Rogue, best to keep your mouth shut else you continue to look the fool. I'd like to see a max_fieldops setting too, but i'm also against the idea of having max_* for ever...

That's what I'm asking..

If 2 engineers build a commandpost, who gets the engineering XP?

Do they halve it, or if one guy has built 90% and another guy comes along and gives it a tweak, who gets the XP?

I'm talking about NOW, and in yuor proposal.

Is the proposal consistent with engineering though? Do you get engineering XP for building half a bridge or command-post? Who gets the XP if 2 people are building something together? Anyway I happen to agree with this proposal, it's just that the end of round screen should show DG/DR ratio instead o...

It's a good idea hiro, and one that I suggested about 3 months ago. Bani at the time though, said he didn't like the idea because he was trying to promote some sort of consistent clan play settings throughout the world, and if you introduce an option like this, it makes it all the less likely...

Yep that sounds good, because at least then you can shoot them on the way down, as the hitbox is still as though they are standing.

Sounds like a good compromise to me.

Thanks

I agree with sickboy..

While they are in teh motion of "going" prone or "going out of" prone, they should:

1. Not be able to shoot
and/or
2. Not be able to move their crosshair

Exactly, and it's becoming more and more common.
