Well when you do something for a community you better do it for the average ppl... ETPro is a mod for competition players. Competition players pay attention on security risks, and are smart enough to know how to update and even switch versions for playing on servers not running 3.2.6/2.60b. I sugge...

you should have/put all relevant settings in etpro/server.cfg and make a shortcut: "path/to/ETded.exe +set fs_game etpro +set dedicated 1 +exec server.cfg +set net_port 12345"

make sure there is no server.cfg in etmain

Some people just download etpro by connecting to servers and thus not including the qagame, they fail when trying to start a dedicated server.

Its a leftover from earlier versions.

Some functions of code are only in the qagame_mp_x86.dll/*.so code IIRC, therefor not used when using hostgame from the menu without "dedicated".
