Are the servers still there? I can no longer see them in the in-game browser.

Your pk3 file seems corrupt...I can't open it after dowloading. You can name the pk3 file anything you want you just have to reference it's directory structure in you cfg file.

D'oh, I'll jump on the test server but I believe my poor FPS come from funny page-file settings and an old video card.

Ever since I lost my video card and was forced to play with the old one I too have noticed this problem. Specator and freelook (when I have been shot) feels much smoother than the rest of the game play. The FPS don't change but there is a noticable visual difference and my aim feels like it has drop...

Try XQF, it works pertty well.

Well, after reading all 4 of kingbolts posts here I have concluded that he is the escaped lab-monkey that I heard about. Be warned, the learning enhacing drugs he was fed may make him violent and potentially dangerous.

You can download this with the new models and textures as a bundle called NewDoom. I remember that one being around 800mb too.

delete the old pk3 files from your /etpro directory. (probably etpro-2_0_0.pk3 or another etpro pk3 file)
