tjl/tjg are excellent features and I don't think they will be going anywhere in the near future (thankfully). /modrules would rule.

Also, here is a version of the Player Guide updated to match the example.cfg in 3.1.9, save the b_tjg/b_tjl/b_demo features.

I can't remember off the top of my head which version(s?) saw it, but there was a bug a while back related to fireteam invitations: you would select the one person you wanted to invite, and you would send a hojillion invites, sometimes to people on the wrong team (producing an easy-to-spot error spe...

I reworded my rebuttal about five times, but I eventually just decided you are beyond my power to help.

unskilled weaponry. basically, if you can own me in an SMG duel, you are better than me and should always win every encounter with me. i shouldn't have access to any n00b weapons that allow me to kill my superiors. if i want to beat you, i should be forced to improve my aim. anything else is spam a...

agreed

also, b_nomedicregen would have a greater impact than b_medmaxhealth. If auto-regen went away, the impact on the game would be profound

Couldn't you just hook some external program to the keyboard, making it lower a driver pitch setting or something whenever you hit the fire key? It seems like it would be hard to stop determined people from fiddling with their rodents.

@Sauron: I'm sure you're right that the boxes are much better now. Nonetheless, switching to a new hitbox system creates a hurdle for me. I know the old, buggy hitboxes, and I would rather stick with my years of experience on them then switch to a new system. Naturally, the new hitboxes deserve a hi...

as the whole point is to put the headshot detection on the server side... i don't think it will be possible for a clientside option Yes of course, but I should think it still caches the last 500 ms of the game independent of the hit detection algorithm... unless it's changed massively from Toronto'...
