I disabled backup since it makes me lag on some servers (e.g. pmove_fixed 1 is not allowed, but I have bound it together with my jump key. So everytime I press jump, ETPro would make a backup ...)

I noticed some servers which force the rate to 40000 ... :roll:
And the result is that players get kicked for it when they connect to other servers.

You miss some point. When you convert a float value to integer then its simply truncated (in C). But ET (and OpenGL) don't convert these values to integer at all - they handle it as float. You should check the .voice files for typos when the /vsay doesn't work (it is broken for Axis and Allies?). Additionally you can only add about 200 new voice chats to the .voice files - everything above is simply discarded.

Could also be some kind of nade jump. When players get tossed around by arty or panzer weird things can happen.

nobody cares about atmosphere for competition. ideally you'd want nothing to inhibit your view. Yeah that nasty tank should be invisible too, it always blocks my view (why do I have to run after it anyway?). Not to mention the trees and brushes.
