I just had a variation on the speedhack: (also with pmove_fixed)
speed was not increased, but bar was always empty and did not replenish but when I pushed sprint+move bar was immediately full, then empty again.

Personally I'd let the Covert be able to select SMG, or at least pick one up off the ground. That'd make the Covert more useful, and therefore more used, in Clan wars. I've seen it happen when enemy damages the tank and you try to repair it before the tank stops/announcer message.

You shouldn't be upgrading your system unless you have a really crappy motherboard or something, your current specs should let you play ET with no probs whatsoever.

So it's a software issue. Trying omega drivers could help, reinstalling windows too.
