This is a config problem and not an etpro problem. I thought I had fixed it, but I guess loading the config was not enough. I just restarted the server so you should be able to connect just fine.

What is in the config? Yes, when you load a .config the server restarts. In my particular setup the .config was the last thing loaded and it worked just fine.

Northpole works fine on our server. We are rotating 5 campaigns varying in length form 6 to 10 maps and don't have any problems with that.

You can load a server config just the same as in etpub or etmain. You should place the files in the etpro directory because that makes the most sense. mapdefault.cfg is the default map config and mapdefault_ mapname .cfg is the per-map config file. Inside the etpro zip you will find example.cfg that...

Since these files have the same name, isn't it going to cause file mismatches and other such problems?

Can't say as though I have ever had that problem. Are you sure you aren't loading the game twice? I know that can cause lag.

Can't anyone call a vote? What is the point in having an admin to call votes?

You can still complain, you just don't get a notification that you can do so.

This program doesn't do anything that a person otherwise couldn't do by other means. Many people have had to patch different versions of the game because some servers didn't upgrade or delete their etkey and do many other things because of the GUID Auth problem, which has nothing to do with cheating...

This happened on raiders and password as well.

Nevermind, it seems that a swap loads the configs again, which contains a shuffle on my server.

Today someone voted to swap teams and it passed, but instead of swapping the teams, it did a shuffle.

There are a couple of other threads in here about the same thing. It seems to do it on certain maps.
