To be honest, never really seen ammo racks as the problem in clan games at all. They aren't that fast to recharge, and they don't hold that many, and they do quite often favour attack at least on part of the map (fueldump at the start, nearer to Allies on Railgun... Allies are DEFENSE on Railgun th...

I had a demo quite some time ago, two explosions and people died in the courtyard and inside the room. Mortar's don't have splash damage so big that it will go up to the second story and through a wall, if that was the case, people on the bridge would die if you hit the courtyard, or vise-versa, pe...

WHere is the location of the images to be replaced? Do you simply replace the images allied_marker and axis_marker in the Server ET Main Pak0.pk3? What happens wiht the client side? Wont they only see the mines in thier client programfiles folder? Just wanted to ask before I spent a couple of hours...

ET was a change from RTCW. Now it's slowly moving back to the way RTCW was (getting rid of anything new like xp and riflenades). So those people would rather make it a second RTCW than adapting to the new things in ET. Maybe in Europe, but not here. NZ/AU still have XP, levels, riflenades, etc. And...

You'll have to do it with shell scripting. So if you don't have full access to your server, you can't do it. Basically you just need your shell script to either monitor the server log, or scan the server to determine the # of players, then rcon the settings to the server when the limits between sett...

I believe you might be mistaken. From what I have experienced (a couple times with prone delay on) is that when you strike your prone button, you are all but frozen, no firing, no moving, you are dedicated to prone and suck until you are down. A simulated 'lay-down' without an animation. Close... Y...

The whole POINT of the engy is that he's vulnerable. Most Wolf maps revolve around doing an objective which requires a specific class to do it - the Engineer. The Engineer is weak, therefore needs to be heavily escorted. Tada! Teamwork... :?: If the engy wasn't vulnerable - there would be no point t...

As a client I don't think it's possible. As a server admin, maybe by sets'ing the cvars rather than just set'ing them? I think I've hinted there should be something similar, but now would be a good time to make that explicit. I think all b_* cvar's should be sets'd by default - for example, they cou...

heh, had another look - this time I bothered to do a shownormals. And yeah, there are a few segments of 'weird' play which initially made no sense that make total sense when you can see where the enemies are. The one mentioned above I didn't notice at first - but yeah, he walks - about the only time...

Yeah, have watched all the demos. I don't see anything suspicious except 1 of his kills on radar. But that's well within margin of error ;). He was probably just 'in the zone' and they weren't :P. As to the prone1 demo - that's very very interesting. And you really do have to crank the speed down to...

Re: things I don't understand . . .
Makes clients move/jump at b_fixedphysicsfps <number> frame's per second independant of their actual FPS. Leagues/comps would be silly not to use it. (serverside) Lie ! some stupid league in germany (not telling any names here) is using it and it sucks big time! Its 80 % harder to perform the same ...
