Lazy clients are no reason to delay server updates. The more servers that update, the more likely clients will be to get their shit sorted. It's not even a big deal: have a renamed 2.60b executable that lives alongside your 2.60 version, with a shortcut to each. This ain't rocket surgery. The probl...

Barring extremely serious security related bugs, another client engine release seems very unlikely. [dream mode] when RTCW2 nears completion, some pimping for that game might be done through another ET client release. pak3.pk3 with some goodies from RTCW2, best free advertising ever :D. It's not an old Chrysler 3-gear "my shifting lags" automatic anymore .ReyalP wrote:Not that it sounds like it would change the overall conclusion, but this isn't the sort of car I'd choose to equip with a snotomatic

What is funny is the R32 is one of the few cars i've found that actually appreciates in value over time. the downside means that the R32 that MSRP'd for $29k new in 2004 is now selling in 2006 with 20,000 miles on it for $31k. :x Don't underestimate the weaker dollar vs euro in that aspect. In 2 ye...

Best Linux distro for etded / ettv?
Just wanted to ask you Linux guru's a question: which Linux distro is best suited for etded / ettv? I'm currently running Fedora Core 5 but I'm curious whether switching to something else would improve performance for etded & ettv? Currently thinking about Debian. Don't know if FreeBSD would be ...

I know. How about the good old Prius then ? But seriously, get a VW Golf GTI with DSG box. Or if you have money to spare, take the R32. You won't regret it.bani wrote:if you look at the cars i've been test driving you might notice a pattern.

Re: Bani new car shopping: Audi A3
The one diamond in the banality of the overall A3 driving experience is the astounding DSG. Upshifts and downshifts are painless and instantaneous, butter-smooth with absolutely no jerkiness. When you downshift at speed, the engine quietly and quickly blips the revs to match the gear before engagin...
