I'd like to repeat this question since if the answer is 'yes', this fix will put a natural end to mid-duel proning.Neuro wrote:Will this hitbox thingie fix prone hitboxes ?

I noticed a couple more things last night. 8) 1. (I guess you already know that) The ETTV clients still get disconnected from time to time from the matchserver on map changes. It seemed like Quaketheism was more susceptible to that last night but it also happened to Oldcrow once at least. 2. I also ...

I don't know if this helps you bani, but during the match tonight what happened was that the round timer wasn't wrong but it didn't show at all during one round. It was correctly displayed during the 3 others though. A friend of mine who was watching too had the same problem, but in a different round.

actually they are counted as shots, and counted as misses, thats why many ppl usually pull out the old knife and do the quick gib stab, so that gibbing doesn't destroy their acc., even though you hear hitsounds in the process of gibbing, they count as misses, this has been previously discussed Repe...

Shots fired to gib are counted as shots that miss , at least in etpro. That's wrong. True is what SCDS_reyalP wrote earlier in this thread. The accuracy calculation of gibbing shots in ETPro is the same as in vanilla ET. Ofc gibbing will still lower the calculated accuracy a bit, for two reasons: 1...

The match will probably be recorded as a literal ETTV demo as well—that is, it'll probably be replayed a few times afterwards, so you'll still be able to watch it with ETTV even if your timezone sucks. :) (It'll be Almost as Good as the Real Thing™) Does that mean that demos which are recorded on E...

Sorry if my statement about CS was ambiguous. I didn't want to say that it's bad just because it would be the same as in another game. What I wanted to say is that IMO taking away some of the phases on some maps would take away a tactical element of the game which for me doesn't outweigh the benefit...

Hmm without having invested much thought into your proposition yet I must say this sounds a bit like CS to me. Ofc no one likes those 20+ minutes full hold rounds (hence the discussion on xfire.be etc.) but I think your proposition would mean too much of a change. Often, the most interesting action ...
