command to zoom in and out

i was wondering what the command is to zoom in and out(not with mauser). im pretty sure thats how people get headshots from sniperhill with stens/pistols...so what is it and what is the default? thanks
oh, its probably a /cvar command

cg_fov x (90 is default)
some servers make it where you cant go below 90, which is how you zoom

.. out of my XP as a player i never got closer then 90 and never got farther then 180
and btw FOV is more a way to deform your vieuw or to look at a wider angle not realy a way to close up i think

i am pretty sur if you lower it past 90 you can the zoom effect

i played with 20,000 fov one time and man does that hurt your eyes i suggest you don't try it lol.

it's just the same as 180.

rtcw won't let you use the command higher than 180 or lower than 90, it's all the same. >180=80; <90 = 90.

no, the view will stay the same if u go past 180 but your gun diappears at about 300

you cna also make your gun disapaer by using /testgun
