banimod / etpro / ettv forums

this isn't a specific question to bani mod, but when i record a demo and play it back in wolf to take screen shots, is there any way to turn off the text that appears in the middle of the screen, or ignore it.

it usually says allies have captured the flag, or dyno planted etc.
i have tried

seta cg_noVoiceText "1"
seta cg_noVoiceChats "1"
seta cg_descriptiveText "0"
seta cg_drawNotifyText "0"
seta cl_motd "0"
seta cg_teamChatTime "0"

but this text still appears.
any ideas. i dont want any text on the screen at all except for the top left where it shows kills, gibs, frags etc

well i can try using the banimod / etpro feture to use server side map scrips

and use those
and remove the messages inside of of them but i dont know.. that works is a demo

I use 'Seta cg_draw2d 0', to clear the screen as well as the ones you mentioned but this clears everything.
