HOLY HELL BATMAN! Pb running old version??Then kicks me?!?

Help! Everytime I try to play
old crow gold rush 32 I get a message saying
pb detects server running old version then it kicks me after 30 seconds. Ive updated all my pb files but that didn't seem to work! Any ideas pleaeeease???

Are you sure that's the message? I've seen players spamming a similar message on the Oldcrows servers. It looks like a real error message, except that it appears in the chat area instead of the message area (in the middle, not the top left).

It doesn't make sense that Punkbuster would kick player(s) because the server is running an old version! I could understand if the reverse were true. (But then, again, it IS Punkbuster - it doesn't have to make sense!)

Yeah, PB has recently switched to displaying the messages in the chat area. If it's really a problem, try a different server, or download an older version of PB. Yes, that's right, downgrade.

Yeah I'm sure thats the message. How do I downgrade punkbuster?How do I find different servers running a checkpoint/goldrush? obviously Im kinda new at this banimod stuff so pardon if you will, the questions! One thing I did was," /cl_update 0 " because my machine would freeze everytime I would boot RTCW multiplayer. Now it boots fine ! Also this only happenes to me on this particular server OLD CROW goldrush32Maybe now PB can't update or something to that effect. I did however visit punkbuster and update my securuty files! Perhaps I didn't do that right or all of the updating I needed to do? anyhelp greatly appreciated!
