Just a few things I've noticed.
- Shooting a wounded player counts as a miss
- Reviving somebody counts as a hit
- Dynamite blowing up counts as a miss (unless somebody is too close to it)
- Shooting destructable objects is a miss
- Shooting teammates is a hit
- Shooting yourself is a hit (mortar/panzer fun :D)

Now, why do these things count as they do? Shouldn't shooting a wounded player count as a hit?

Not supposed to happen, as long as they're indeed wounded and haven't tapped out into limbo.

Intended.

Half-intended... I suppose hitting an objective should count as a hit.

Pssh, save your ammo! Arguably a bug...
bacon wrote:- Shooting teammates is a hit
Are you sure about that one?
bacon wrote:- Shooting yourself is a hit (mortar/panzer fun :D)
Undecided on whether that's a bug or not.

Shooting a wounded player is supposed to count as neither a shot nor a hit--the counters are supposed to stay the same, at least as designed.

shooting teammages is a TD hit... do the stats on the intermission screen just tally the two? i know the stats in console / saved text are separated
