How to view demos/replays

This may sound like a noob-like question but I would like to know how to view replays or demos that I download. I download demos in the format of .DM_83 and place them in the etpro folder in demos but when I run the game and go to Replays I see no replays to view. I would greatly appreciate help on this.

modify the et shortcut properties and add +set fs_game etpro to the target after the quotes(make sure you add a space
