 i think i understood some of that...
but if your computer overheats in ET doesn't mean it will overheat in RTCW... ET is a little more CPU dependant... my guess is CPU/GPU overheating, what are your system specs?

Pentium(R) 4 2.53GHz, 504 MB of RAM

I dont have a very good vidcard but its better then some people that I know play the game, It does ok in RTCW I can get about 150-200 fps in doors, although its capped at 126.

Need more info or is this all?

Its really weird because it will be runnign fine then when i get to choose an allias it just starts slowing down more and more untill i cant move the mouse cant do anything i have even let it just set there for awhile, and nothing.

been stuck in RTCW so long even made a mod for v1.0(www.S4NDMoD.tk)

Thanks for the help,

1. do you have an add-in card or are you still using the onboard video adapter?
2. check the fans, they may be clogged, what is the display adapter you are using?
