Hello

I have this problem today, when connecting to my server...

in console i have this...

Punkbuster Client : Failed to resolve etguidauth.evenbalance.com

my host admin says, that this is becoz server has to be updated, but its done automaticly so i cant do nothin then wait ?

...also i have updated my pb in enemy territory folder, but still no changes, so i would like to ask you kind ppl again what can i do, that my server will run normally again as soon as possible, or i really just have to wait, so its updated ?

this looks to be a client issue and not a server problem (i think)

try this:

update your pb manually (client not server)
download the 3 client files for your pb install
http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=dl-et.php

Aha tnx again mate, i just reinstalled my et, saved a backup folder, and lets try, if it doesnt work, im gonna try like you explained above...


edit...now everything is ok, after reinstalation, did save those 3 files and all, for future problems that might happen

most likely this was a temporary DNS error, and just waiting would have resolved it.

edit: or maybe it's just a misleading error message!
