Yeah, pb_sv_banmask works well.
Unless they have a rotating IP, which is rare. I've only ever known one person with such. I myself *can* rotate my IP but it takes a lot.

No way to install etadmin_mod atm.
And here in Italy we have dynamic IPs and a NAT based ISP (banning a NAT IP means to ban tons of people).

I thought that with a router your IP changes aswell right? Or does that not count for online games?

Hmm dont know where you are from, but in the US nearly everyone has dynamic IPs, you'd need to ban the entire IP block of the player's ISP.

Same here in germany.
Just look whois / nslookup output of the IP. Often you can see, if the ip is dynamic or not.

I think this is one of the biggest problems on ET at the moment, if we do as admins come across someone cheating there is no way that we can permanently ban them, as in South Africa where I am from we get a new IP everyday! no static ip's. So they come onto the server cheat and not care if that get caught or not as they can be back and playing on the servers the very next day.
Is there absolutely NO way! *cries*

well i've been banned from a server
by etpro guid via etadmin_mod, so i'd say it's pretty powerful, providing you're not using win98 or a hack which changes it...
