Create your own fireteam and make it private.

but that will only stop people from inviting you to join a FT won't it? ... people will still be able to request permission to join... :?

How about another option in the fireteam menu, "Lock" (toggle), no invitations, proposals or applications.

And seperately theres that bug where people get into the fireteam when its private somehow :(

Bug your server admin to set g_autofireteams to 0.

That doesn't keep people from manually doing it.

sometimes strange things happen to fireteams.

even if it is private new connected players sometimes join it.

Yeah, I have nfi why, but they get in somehow. :(

Perhaps in some cases they're invited before you F1 to make it private.
Perhaps in other cases g_autofireteams sticks them in there when they connect.

Either way, fireteam invite code should probably be revised.

Hmmm, the server side command g_autofireteams 0 is not sufficiant to stop the request from players to join the fireteam.
Thanks anyway, maybe this topic will lead to an anoying thing being solved...
I cant believe i'm the only one getting pissed when asked to join a fireteam and reject it xx times.
The code should be revised.

b_voteTextScale 0 is worth considering.
