Need to Unban

I need to unban a member of my clan in our server. The server is running ETpro 3.2.4. I deleted all bans in the pb_banlist and I tried to unban the players PB_guid. But he is still banned.

Does ETpro save bans in a file? If it does, where can I find that file to unban the member of my clan?

I didn't ban him one of the leaders did and now I have to fix it :S

etpro does not have anything to do with punkbuster bans.

etpro doesn't save bans to disk.

LUA mods could/would have to, though this still wouldn't be considered etpro, it could get confused with it

As soon as he connects he gets the message:

You have been banned from this server.

No reason or something, just that he is banned. We allready tried to cange cdkey but when he deleted his etkey and connected to the server it still said he is banned

There is no message in game. you don't see him connecting, only on teamspeak you hear, no I still banned.

There is no message like: Banned player tries to connect.

No I haven't done that, Is it possible that it will fix the problem? Since I deleted all PB bans?

You're not using etadmin_mod are you? otherwise check your shrubbot.cfg file and unban him there.

No, It is our private server. It runs ETpro 3.2.4 and clanbase 3v3 or 6v6 configs

try rebooting... i'd allways recomend rebooting if you have such a problem

I have restart the server, but the ban is still there. So this is the situation:

There is a banned player that needs to be unbanned
The PB banfile is empty
The server doesn't show that a banned player is trying to connect
The member gets the message: You have been banned from this server.
There is no reason why he is banned just that he is banned.

We are also trying to contact the person who banned the member. To ask him how he banned our member. The member was logged in as Referee when he was banned.

referee's can only kick. This gives in a temp ban, which normally expires in a few minutes. Any temp bans would be cleared by a server restart.

pb_sv_banlist will show pb bans. You can find the documentation for this and other PB commands at:
http://www.evenbalance.com/publications/et-ad/index.htm

There will most certainly be a log or server console message when a banned player is kicked. If you are not seeing it, you aren't looking in the right place.

The only ban you have no control of is PB global hardware bans. These will still show up in the logs.

I deleted all bans in the PBban file as I said before, after that I restarted the server.

I also found the kick in the server.log file. That file "says" kick by punkBuster. But If the PBBanlist is empty, where does it saves the ban???

EDIT:
I also filled in a trouble ticket at PB site, bu they didn't answer that.
