mapdefault_mapname.cfg staying loaded after map

Post by sneaky1 »

I saw this topic. I "though" I understood how this works but I guess I'm missing something.

I run baserace_b3a. I have a mapdefault_baserace_b3a.cfg with the settings:

set g_usertimelimit 40
set g_useralliedrespawntime 10
set g_useraxisrespawntime 10

and a mapdefault.cfg with:

set g_usertimelimit 23
set g_useralliedrespawntime 17
set g_useraxisrespawntime 23

Only thing is, once the mapdefault_baserace_b3a.cfg executes (and it does so successfully), the changes stay applied to the next map, which happens to be Goldrush.

Baserace is 3 maps deep in the campaign. Maps previous to it are normal but maps afterwards are modified with the baserace settings.

Both .cfg files are in my ETPRO folder.

Thoughts?

same result.

mapdefault_mapname.cfg executes fine. But it stays that on all maps after that.

the most simple way to make it fit your needs is the following:
- create new file and name it (depending on the map after baserace, in your case goldrush) mapdefault_goldrush.cfg
- put the values you want to have in your newly created file.
- HF playing
