public server with etpro 2.0.7, xps and hitsounds on 2.55?

Post by huxflux »

we still play in 2.55, we have etpub running but we consider to install etpro on our server. we want the same hitboxes as when we play a scrim or tournament, so my question is, if its possible to have xp save (only for 3 hours) . and what to do?

You cannot run any recent etpro with 2.55. You must use 2.60 or 2.60b on the server.

ETPro 2.0.7 hitboxes and antilag are not the same as recent etpro.

ETPro does not support XP save across campaigns.

just out of curiosity: why are you still using 2.55? seems pointless tbh

The only reason I can think of that you'd be running an older version is because you dont want some feature.

Chances are theres a cvar to disable it if this is the reason you havent updated it.

one year ago we started our clan in 2.60, the problem was, our server was the whole time empty, so we decided to go back to 2.55... now its full all the time! we have whaleclient running which supports some of the etpro features, and made a restart script for the daily server crash :) so we re fine on 2.55!

sooooo back to my question is it possible to have xp save in objective cycle or is it generally not possible with etpro 2.0.7?

thanx
