Since we installed 3.0 we have had random people become muted. With no vote called, and no one being a Ref or SA.

Do you mean the log file? I dont have any demo files on the events.

Nothing appears on the screen when these random mutes have occured. (Like the normal "So and so has been muted") I have gone through the log file, and they will be talking normally, then all of a sudden it shows that they have been muted. (In the list of numbers and stuff behind their names) I became a ref and unmute one of them, and then it said "So and So has been unmuted" on the screen. Other than that it gives me nothing to go by on why it occured. It has happened 3 times so far, to 3 different people.

We just had this happen tonight. I'll try to pull the server logs, but I never noticed the played voted to mut, and I know it wasn't a ref or admin decision because he's a regular player. The first indication I got was when he called a vote to un-mute. Weirdness.

i can confirm that, we had this happen to an individual the other night running testfix6 i think. the guy affected really didn't mention it until later, so it's hard to say when it happened or what -- at the time i just kindof passed it off as him being psycho or having connection problems, heh.

we had it back before the release of 3.0, not sure if habit sent you the demo but he was muted and we demoed him trying to talk in console, say and team say chats

I still have that Demo if you want it Bani.
And yes this was before 3.0.0 I think it was with 2.1.15

this is a bug with damagexp mode.

it will be fixed in 3.0.1

can you try test bugfix 15 and see if it fixes your problems?

Well no more random muting.
But know after people have downloaded the patch,they cant get ET to go online it just crashs with an error. There is atleast 15 people that I know of having this problem after coming to are server.
We are still using bugfix 15

Well I would upgrade the server to it, but know ET is total screwed on both of my computers. Have done 3 total installs and it still wont work.
And we are getting more and more complaints on are forums. Im just going to set the server back to 2.07.
