argh, i just dont get it.
neither winzip works on pk3-files, nor does winrar nor all the other unzip programs i tried.
so.. what the heck do i have to do in order to host a game? what files do i need? and where do i get them?

if you have winzip installed
right click on a pk3 file
open with...
select winzip
it'll automatically open correctly from now on

see.. if i say, "i can't open the file", i mean: "i cant open the file."
if i want to say "i don't know how to open the file", i say: "i don't know how to open the file"..

if you use my approach above you will beable to open any non corrupted pk3 file... it will make it work on ANY windows machine that has winzip installed

This "fix" hasn't fixed anything for me unfortunately. It's mildly frustrating that I'm unable to host a game or view any replay ETPro 3 or not. Any other suggestions?

Connect to a server with etpro 3.0.1 or newer. /disconnect and go
view demos. Works for me.

Argh.. I just want to be able to play maps on my client for practice. And I want to use the etpro b_drawspeed fxn. Picky picky. I want to use my own computer because I'm trying to use devmap for nofatigue.

I type /devmap or /map (name) and I get the animations error.

Ok, I copied all the *.dll and *.so files into my etpro directory as mentioned above and got the map to load on my machine. I'm getting loads of errors as mentioned by someone earlier but the map plays, even though there are a bunch of scrolling errors.

Will having the qa_game*.* files in my etpro directory cause problems when I play?
Will there be probs when a new etpro comes out? or will the just be over written? or it doesn't matter since those files are only used when my puter 'hosts'?

Oke i would like to try something...
i want to host a server on my computer.
Is it possible to copy the folder "etpro" and past it and name it "etpro2"
than start the game in etpro2.
and i remove al maps and .pk3 files that i don't want to have in my server.
is that possible?

This error...

BG_IndexForString: unknown token 'NOT' : (animations/scripts/human_base.script line 3351)

.... is still present in ETpro 3.0.13 It prevents me from starting up a non-dedicated server in Etpro, as discussed in earlier threads. If I start wolf.exe in regular mode, I can load the non-dedicated server to test new maps.

Any progress on this issue that I am not aware of?
