Et pro, latest resets pc

i try to join an etpro server with the latest version downloaded but when i join a game.. after a few seconds my computer resets... :/
i took it to my friends place and et pro worked fine... but then again he didnt have service pack 2 i think that's the problem.. anyone else experience this?

SP2 is not the problem I would look to drivers first. Also check for virii/spyware etc. Do you get any kind of error messages. I would also say to check overheating, but that usually takes longer than that.

THis bug is fixed, it was a probelm and they patched it, i updated my drivers before patch and it made it stop for me tho, Read here : http://www.splashdamage.com/index.php?n ... ic&t=12280

It is still probably driver related. Update all of your drivers (video, chipset, sound, BIOS). Also run pbweb to update punkbuster. Use adaware or similar to check for spyware and such, and use a good antivirus and firewall. Use a program to check your system temp and see if maybe your computer is overheating ... I know that was a problem for me (caused my PC to reboot).

thank you.And I dont type like a 1337 idiot.get a life. I dont have problems like that anymore

Theres really only 2 things that could be,driver or spyware/virus. Id guess the driver. Some new drivers don't get the testing they need. One good way to avoid spyware is NOT to visit PORN sites on the machine you play on.teehee.
