ET on Mac
Hi all,
I'm talking with my contacts at Activision about getting a Mac port of ET done. ID/Activision would like to see a Mac ET, so it's just a matter of connecting the right people -- which I'm attempting to do.
I'll keep everyone updated in this thread.

compile under 10.3
fwiw, running a "perl cons" in src/unix gets quite a ways into the compile before it barfs.
-Wall spits out the requisite metric ton of warnings, but I'm not sure how this compares to the linux compile.
The failure occurs in creating the shared library -- a link error. This leads me to believe that a couple of #ifdefs placed in various locations would help the port along immensely.

If you get a mac ET happening I would be happy to supply you with my girlfriend or mother for sexual favours.
also are you aware that there is a petition for a mac version of ET? it can be found at http://www.PetitionOnline.com/wofetmac/
when I signed it it was at about 6 or 7 hundred names and that was a few months ago.
Sketch.
