bani wrote:ref menu 'XP SHUFFLE NO RESTART' callvoted by mistake
this was a mistake?! the only mistake i could see was that you weren't able to
turn each on and off invdividually like :
set vote_allow_shuffleteamsxp_norestart 1
set vote_allow_shuffleteamsxp 0
something that pisses a lot of people off is a shuffle being voted and passed in the last 10-5 minutes of a game and the map restarting, so being able to have it votable to do WITHOUT a restart would be highly preffered.
also, on the subject of map restart :
set vote_allow_maprestart 0
still doesn't work
so you want it to callvote when a ref chooses to do the xp shufflenorestart?

So if I understand correctly, it's MP40 ROF with Thompson damage? The MP40 in RTCW had a higher rate of fire, but did 22% less damage than the Thompson, 14 pts per hit vs 18 pts per hit.
bani: Thanks in all seriousness for answering why WolfROF and Damage Falloff were added. I, too, thought they were the stupidest thing ETPro has ever done, if only for the fear the leagues would adopt it, but you have a point. It seems a lot of developers are afraid of "segmenting the community" *coughETFcough* for a decent section of people.
b_demorecord_statusline is obsoleted by the etmain cvar cg_recording_statusline
(this was missing from the publicbeta documentation, so i just added it)
Can you pub newbs seriously stop crying about an option that in no way affects you, however it is greatly appreciated by some people that would like to try out this option... a year ago you'd be crying about the idea of disallowing panzers to get level 1 or fops to get level 3..
On a side note, thanks a lot bani and crew, we're all really greatful for the work you've put in!
I look forward to testing no distance fall off to see how much it really does affect gameplay, then we'll see who's arguements were valid regarding it...
