Make sure the master and slave are running the same version of ET (Both patched the same).

Without more information, no.

Protocol mismatch really should only be caused by mis-matched versions.

OK, lets see what i got more...

Perhaps its because i have no config file...

all the things i added, i added on the command line and it looks like this:

Code: Select all

C:\ETTV\ettv.exe +set sv_maxclients 2 +set ettv_clientname ETTV +set ettv_delay 0 +set ettv_chatpasswords 0 +set net_port 27900 +set fs_game etpro
Probably this isnt enough...

Perhaps anyone could share his config and comandline with me, so i can see what ive done wrong?

dont forget that you have to run ettv.exe from et directory.

and fyi, i run ettv with this settings:

Code: Select all

ettv.exe +set fs_game etpro +set net_ip "my.ip.address" +set net_port "myport" +set com_hunkmegs 128 +set sv_punkbuster 0 +set sv_maxclients 100 +set sv_privateclients 0 +set sv_hostname "servername" +set ettv_clientname "clientname" +set ettv_delay 60 +set com_watchdog 0 +set rconpassword "xxxxx" +tv connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx tvpwd gamepwd
only the one problem i have is abnormal long client's awaiting gamestate and sometimes is /reconnect needed.
