Bani/Kenny should ask the guys who make PB to come up with a GUID convertor so they can ban them without having to see them on the server at all.

can someone show an example of their ban cfg...trying to make one using some of the bans you fella's show here and not having much luck...just need an example of one to get started

Also, how can I ban GUIDs without them being on the server, or add to the pb_sv_banlist? Those two were banned by sv_ban, and I want to add them to the pb_sv_banlist. Also, there are other GUIDs I want added (like the ones in this thread) and I don't know how...

echo -n "reason for being banned" > /bani/bans/<GUID>
the -n is important to prevent a CR at the end of the file, otherwise the message given to the player when they try to connect looks funny.
for punkbuster, its in their online documentation
here...
PB_SV_BanGuid [guid] [player_name] [IP_Address] [reason]
Adds a guid directly to PB's permanent ban list; if the player_name or IP_Address are not known, we recommend using "???"
