slow starting on LAN, rtcw domains cannot be resolved

When you try to start WolfMP.exe without internet access, you must wait very long, until the gamescreen comes, because some domains cannot be resolved.
On a LAN party, I can use DHCP und deploy DNS IP and then route all rtcw specified domain requests to internal IP adresses. When I edit my host file, it is the same, but the problem is, it's not working!
I tried to set all possible domains to 127.0.0.1 (in the host file) but it's not better.
I think, the wolfmotd.idsoftware.com musst be resolved, but why??
Do you have an idea, what I have to do, to axelerate starting of RTCW (wolfmp.exe)?
Try to deactivate your network card and then start wolfmp.exe, you will see the problem..
Thanks for any help!
