I consider myself to be quite pedantic and anal about grammatical correctness, and if allotted the task would cheerfully apply myself to correcting any errors made by various parties in the course of expanding or refining the documentation available.

Or I could just make it so it's understandable without completing either high school english or a year teaching english in China, whatever.

the question is, do we follow proper english as spoken in england (and presumably AU, NZ, CA, SA, and the rest of UK - all with mild alterations, and canadian having some american mixed in there), or do we follow "american english" which is quite evolved from those others, since i believe bani is american?

or perhaps global english, which is i guess a mixture of all those?

meh, i guess it don't matter much. it basically boils down to stuff like "color" vs "colour", and who really gives a toss, eh? 8)

@ the easily offended: note i don't use "evolved" to mean better or more refined. clearly the opposite is true. but since it is younger then, was born of, and has changed from "england english", evolved is the best word.

if you're trying to pick a dialect to use (easiest thing i can think to compare them) i believe we're going too much into detail... as long as we can understand it, who cares?
probably should try to stay away from idioms though

I don't think it matters

I read color and colour as the same thing and personally write colour as I'm English but obviously write color on sites etc

no difference

But you should try to keep it consistent at least on page level.

I think picking a shiny logo should remain our main objective.
