bani, I remember hearing something about how pornographic the bible is somewhere long ago (I'm not sure if it was a joke or not, but it was true.) It was basically asking what would happen if you walked into a library and told them that they had a book that was very graphic in descriptions of incest, child molestation, men and women getting raped, and so on. The answer is that they would most likely jump up to find that book and take it off the shelves, until you tell them that it's the bible.

i say if you have a child, its your fault and when you get an abortion it is murder. you cant argue with that.

i say if you dont want to have a kid, then dont have sex. you say its too hard not to have sex before marriage. THEN HOW COME MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE DONE IT?

Technically they were immoral because they inherited the sins of their ancestors. In the Old Testament God was a strict Mofo and counted sins thru the bloodline back to Adam and Eve. This "Original Sin" stains everybody from the second they're concieved.

Until the New Testament came about and Jesus paid off this sin tab humanity had accumulated.

i did read the passages, and i only saw God justly puinshing the the evil.

you left a part out, bani. there were evil things going on in the city. God had people put a mark on the innocent people there that did not aprove of the "detestable things". all of the others, even the childern, who were un-marked were killed. they were great sinners and The Lord was actually provoked by these people to do this. why dont you read a couple pages before those quotes and see what im talking about. anyways, where do you get this? do you go to an athesit's website and pull these off of there? i doubt you jut happen to have a bible lying around your house.
