Help et is crashing

ok I have played et on this computer with the same hardware for about 6 months now. It worked great up to the last couple of days. Et is crashing and I recieved this error. Does this have something to do with maybe my ram going bad ? wtf is bad magic ? or did my vid card die ?

as for my system i have geforce 5900, 1.5gigs of pc 2700
and a xp 2700+ on a giga-byte gA-7vaxp mb

Im running windows xp pro, sp1 atm I did have sp2 isntalled but I reformated, got driver updates and what not, didnt help
