am i going to have problems registering? since i read the guid is "loosely based on cd key". if i have to i'll buy a new game. i won't tell the kid who's key i use about the veteran stuff, heh.

The GUID is not loosely based off the CD KEY. It is absolutely based off the CD KEY. I would just go buy it. I bought mine new for 20 bucks and that was a while ago.
