ran into a snag, can't get v6 to work yet... will keep trying
that and you do realize the values will be displayed in your chat menu, you won't see a pop-up menu using this

I'm guessing the problem is that you can't use wm_sayplayerclass, because the text won't match the audio.

I suggest putting "vstr sayclass" in main script, then change the sayclass alias in class-specific autoexec files. Like in autoexec_soldier.cfg use this:
set sayclass "say_team IAmSoldier ^7I'm ^2a ^3Soldier"

that'd be good if you allways switched using the class selection script...
