Speaking of bloat, +shrug has no place in a competition mod and will hopefully be removed for the next official release.

Which are n00b mods ?!
It is all about that ETPro is competition mod and it iis not good on public if player doesnt like/play competentive and he doesnt play any tournaments/leagues..
Good hope is for example CSW mod or ETPub which are younger than ETPro , but they are not n00b ...
Just look at all that work, your problem is also that you are as creative ( i think , but dont know really , and of course dont take it personaly ) as ppl who makes any mods ( even simplier graphical/sound ones)..
I really know how it is to make a mod..
I worked on FalckonET and make it almost all alone ( really few code and 2d art is not mine ) so just look at http://stealthy.foolishgames.net/news.php and talk about n00b mods
because i dont want to spam with link to my mod , here are other interesting mods

www.etfgame.com ETF

Mostly the wanna-be 1337alphatards, the alpha's that do it are a joke.

true, but most alphatards have since stopped doing it. it seemed like it was a fad for about a week or two. now it's all the wanna-be's that are left still doing it. still manage to chuckle everytime i see someone doing it in a match or in pub play.

The other problem with shrug is that it's apparently written to the log. In scrims when you have an entire team of people doing it there's a noticable laggy feeling.
